MRZ Cottbus: communication concept and interactive / participatory exhibits for an exhibition about human rights.

At SYNTOP, we created a series of interactive exhibits about human rights, in keeping with a central concept of communication: the abstract and somewhat distant topic of human rights is interactively mapped to the visitors’ daily life to underline the importance of maintaining freedom and security.

Several multimedia and analogue exhibits interactively make the visitors reflect their own personal situation as well as the situation of victims of human rights violations, especially at the historical site in Cottbus.

The Center for Human Rights in Cottbus is a former political prison, now turned memorial site by former inmates.
